Hey bex, thanks for writing this and putting it together! From a
contributor perspective, this was super informative for me to read about
the Docs Project – these kind of updates are great!
To help clarify about our standards, if you compare side-by-side with
the Fedora Magazine, I try to make the CommBlog much easier to be
published on. The idea is that it's insider news, by contributors, for
contributors. Getting that information out is more important than
perfecting it like we would over on the Magazine. That doesn't mean
things don't get some shine and polish, but I'd much rather push
something than spend a week or two going back forth on editing and
getting feedback.
I took a spin through it and changed formatting, fixed a few typos,
etc., but this was a really easy submission to get through. You can see
a preview of the article (with the snazzy featured image) at the link
below:

Let me know if it looks good to you! For now, I have it scheduled for
Monday at 8:15 UTC.
Thanks again for writing, and congrats on your first CommBlog article!
:) Looking forward to seeing some more in the future.
Minor correction – I have it scheduled for Tuesday, 2016-08-16 at the
same time. When it's possible and convenient to do so, I try to schedule
CommBlog posts on Tuesdays and Thursdays, since the Magazine usually
published on M-W-F… so that way everything gets its own time in the
front without being overshadowed by something else. :)
