Hi Keekri,
Did you take a look at the ticket ? https://fedorahosted.org/fedora-commops/ticket/7

Nomination Period starts on upcoming Tuesday Nov 17 and according to Jan, during the next week people will be updating the wiki page with their questions. The wiki page might need a review and some corrections - like formating, removal of duplicate questions etc. Also take a look at Jan's recent mail in this thread to get a rough idea on what you can help next week and do tell what task would you prefer. :)

As for the election-related metrics, did you take a look at this http://etherpad.osuosl.org/fedora-election-metrics ? Any specific question which interests you the most ?
Have you done any metrics-related work in the past ? What languages do you know ?

Most of the analytics related tasks will be post Nomination period but we can brainstorm till then :)

P.S. Lets cc this commops mailing list thread from now on since it will help keep a track of everything :)

PS. I loved your article in comm blog. I'm a real noob in metrics and the number crunching stuff. Could you help me get started. Is there some small task I can do to help you ?

I remember you said something about it on Tuesday.

Hey Jan,

The upcoming F23/F24 Elections were on the table during todays CommOps IRC meeting and I glad to let you know that CommOps community is very interested in helping with conducting the upcoming Elections.

As an introductory text, I was hoping to share the google doc with election related tasks but cannot change the required permissions needed for everyone to view.

Also, I am sure CommOps community would love to help on getting candidate interviews posted., now that CommBlog is up and running !

Cheers
Bee

The document is located in RedHat namespace and it can not be publicly
shared.  I can share it with people outside of RedHat just in case
they have a Google account and I know email address of the account.
However, I consider the document just as my notes, nothing official.

This is great. I am going to send an email on Monday the next week
announcing the Elections. I am thinking also about publishing this
announcement on the CommBlog, so there will be at least this article
for review the next week. The week after, candidates should be posting
their answers to questions on the CommBlog. Depending on the number of
candidates, there might be many posts to review and publish.

Thanks a lot for your help with the Wiki pages. It was fantastic for
me, not to do it, just review it :-)

Regards,
Jan
