Hi Tim! Apologies for the late response, I've been a little behind on my
email for the past week.

Hello,
I have been around Linux for many years, mainly as an enthusiest. I
come from the .deb side of the world and I'm new to Fedora.
Firstly, welcome to CommOps, officially! Sounds like you have a lot of
experience across Linux in general and it will be awesome to have
someone with your experience and knowledge aboard.
I am very interested in becoming an active member of the community
and
I think Ambassadorship and CommOps may be a good place to start since I
don't code and am unfamiliar with packaging for now.
I spend a lot of time on social media and tracking news. I am also very
interested to gaining in depth knowledge of how to navigate through all
things Fedora. So helping others and sharing seems like a good start.
Basically, learn and then pass it on.
For all of the things you mentioned, Ambassadors and CommOps seems like
a great place to start for you. For Ambassadors, you can find more info
here.

Either way, I am eager to get involved. I may not be the speediest
on
replies for now.. I have 4 kids with one being 2 weeks old. But I will
be in IRC, tracking the forums and listening for anything else when I
have the time.
As for CommOps, you may have already found our Join page on the wiki.

Since you've been around in channel and the mailing list, the next best
place for finding things that interest you and how you can help is by
looking at the CommOps Trac. We have all of our tickets for tasks we
need to do there. Give a look around, see if anything sticks out, and as
always, do not be afraid to ask any questions, for anything!

Again, looking foreward to being useful.
