Hello People, I am Ramaseshan, from Bangalore India. A Storage

by profession and Free Software hactivist otherwise. In love with Fedora
Cinnamon. I primarily look at Fedora for Education. Focussed on Schools
and Science streams.
Why Fedora ? I look at Fedora to be a more Free Software than Ubuntu and
Derivatives. When the base OS itself is a more Free Software, why cry
for a derivative. Plus, Work place is CentOS. So became more familiar.
I prefer to take Freedom tools and education to more people than to
code. So hoping that this mailing list could serve me more than enough,
why my search engine fails on me.
Plus it is a lot of cool people around, so looking forward to learn a
lot of things from all of you.
Hello Ramaseshan!
Sorry for getting to this email so late, I've been more busy than usual
the past few days. Welcome to the Community Operations team!
That's awesome to hear about your passion about FOSS, Fedora, and the
education side of things. There's actually an ongoing initiative to
increase Fedora's exposure and involvement in schools and universities.
Perhaps you will be able to help provide a unique insight to that side
of things. :)

Have you looked at the wiki page and found anything in particular that
interested you? There's a lot of different things we're working on, and
we'd be glad to help guide you to getting involved. You can see some
examples of this in the Toolbox part of the page.

Our weekly IRC meetings are on Tuesdays, 17:00 UTC (I think that
converts to 10:30pm IST?), and you are highly encouraged to join our
meeting and check out what's up in CommOps and introduce yourself to the
rest of the team.
Welcome aboard!!
