Hello, I am interested in contributing to Fedora, because I enjoy
contributing to things.
I am specifically interested in CommOps, because I believe it fits my
skill level for programming and managment. I do not have any former
experience on open source, but i have moderated multiple "Discord
servers". I am interested in the implementation of "Fedora Hubs" and
administration of integral applications. I hope to get started.
Hi Levi, welcome to the CommOps mailing list! We're happy to have you here.
Have you had a chance to visit our documentation page? It seems like you
read through our wiki page already – unfortunately, some of the content
there is out of date. The best place to look is this page, and
specifically the section on what we do:
https://docs.fedoraproject.org/fedora-project/subprojects/mindshare/docs/...
There's also some examples of things we've done for all of the major
sections. Do any of these areas sound interesting to you?
Additionally, you can learn more about how to get involved and join our
team on this page:
https://docs.fedoraproject.org/fedora-project/subprojects/mindshare/docs/...
You've already followed many of these steps, but the next step is
detailed in "Start on a task" section. I recommend taking a look through
our Pagure repository for any tickets or tasks that look interesting to
you. For anything that looks interesting, you can ask for more
information in IRC / Telegram or you can leave a comment in the ticket.

I hope this is helpful for you. Let us know if you have any other
questions about getting involved in CommOps. Hope to see you around!
