Hey all!
In our meeting on Tuesday, we wanted to work on finding the best possible dates for as many people as possible when it comes to organizing our vFAD.
If you are interested in participating in our vFAD, please fill out this form and select the dates that work best for you. Hopefully we can have a date selected by the meeting time next week!

Hey Viorel,
Yes, good catch. I didn't specify / ask for hours at that time because usually (v)FADs run for the entire duration of the weekend or for "working hours". I was thinking I would follow up with preferred hours after selecting a date.
However, with the news of Remy heading out from Red Hat and the fact that I'm unavailable most hours on weekends due to my second job, I think it might not be the best timing to try to pull off this vFAD before Flock.
At today's meeting, we discussed a little more about this specifically. The CommOps workshop at Flock was something we were also planning on making a collaborative time to get work done and doing some hacking. I'm going to be try taking the baton on this one since decause is no longer going to be at Flock. We discussed the idea of postponing the vFAD until after Flock (and possibly using Flock as a time to make plans for a vFAD, or maybe even an actual FAD). In the meanwhile, we would adjust efforts towards focusing on the CommOps workshop and making plans for what we'd be doing there. This seemed to be the most popular choice at the meeting and we agreed to postpone the vFAD for now (especially seeing as how it would have been happening this upcoming weekend).
More information about the Flock workshop will be coming up soon on the list. Stay posted about this for now, I also want to try to make this something accessible / available to remote contributors who are unable to attend Flock as well!
