Hey guys, I'm Madi Vachon. I've been using Fedora for over a
year and it's been my favorite distro since I first tried it so I'm excited to
finally start giving back and getting involved with the community! A bit about myself,
I've worked with Systers: an Anita Borg Foundation on automated unit testing for GSOC
for the past two years and that was my first experience contributing to an open source
project and have worked as a sys admin doing lots and lots of packaging of rpms and
digging around RHEL/Fedora systems. I'm happy to help out on any of the commops
projects but I think I would really like to try to get involved in the wiki and metrics!
Thanks!
Madi
Hey Madi, welcome to the CommOps team! Sorry for the delayed response.
We're glad to have you here with us. :) Really awesome to hear you've
done some work with Systers, I hadn't even realized how long it's been
around until now.
We can definitely help you get more involved with the wiki and metrics.
I think you are already aware of our Join page on the wiki, so I won't
point to that again. There's some great resources available specific to
metrics that you might find useful to begin playing with or checking
out. Earlier, some of us were revisiting some of our older posts with
regards to metrics, which you might find interesting! Here's a few links
to some tools and other information that you might find useful.

[1] fedmsg (and by extension, datagrepper, are *really* awesome tools
that let us look closely at contributions made in Fedora and see what
people are doing and how they're doing it – this is definitely one to
check out further and maybe poke around with, just to see what you can
find out!)
[2] This is an upcoming project by skamath as part of his GSoC proposal
– it lets us take a look at the contributions by an individual and
understand the breakdown of their contributions. Another super cool one
to play around with, plus the maintainer is active and receptive to
feedback. :)
The wiki is also something that we actually just recently are putting
back onto the table for discussion, in regards to a long-term vision
with it. Check out this ticket to see some of the discussion we're
having now. After reading through it, do you have ideas or suggestions
for what might be useful or helpful? If so, please feel free to add a
comment! Any and all feedback is welcome and appreciated.

Whew, this is a lot of content. Hopefully it isn't all overwhelming, but
don't feel obligated to go through it all in a single sitting unless you
really want to. If you have questions about any of the above things or
other ways or areas to contribute to, feel free to ask here on this list
or in IRC.
Hope this all helps, and again, welcome to CommOps! :)
