CommBlog review request: Fedora Join as the landing site for prospective contributors

A first draft of my post encouraging contributors to hang out in the

Hey Ankur, thanks for writing this all up! Just went through it, made 
some edits, and created a featured image. You can see the latest version

For publishing dates, I wanted to offer you two choices. We could 
publish it over this coming weekend (Saturday, Oct. 29) or we could 
publish it on Thursday, Nov. 10. I would opt for the Nov. 10 date 
because that spaces it out from a lot of the content in the coming days, 
and it's also not a weekend date (weekends generally get fewer viewers). 
I think it would be seen more if we waited until then. On the other 
hand, we could publish it this weekend, and then we can pass the 
promotion torch over to you so you could try passing it along in mailing 
lists or other places to improve visibility.

I wanted to provide both options since two weeks from now is a fair 
wait. Let me know which you would rather go for. Thanks!

We could wait for the Nov 10 slot I guess. I blogged about it already,
so I think folks that keep up with the planet would be aware already. 

In the mean time, maybe I'll mail the announce list. Do you think I can
use the text from the commblog post, or should I write a different e-
mail for the announce ML?

Okay, sounds good. I just scheduled the post for November 10th so it 
should be all set.

I think you would be fine to use the text from the article, I don't see 
an issue with that. :)

Apparently, once it hits the publish queue, even the author (me) can't
view it. Yay wordpress! :D

I've sent it out to the announce ML too, so as soon as a mod/admin lets
it through, it'll go public.

Hey, so there is actually a way for you all to view it! We have a public 
preview plugin on the CommBlog and Magazine. I'm not sure if you can see 
it after it's scheduled, though. In either case, I have the link here below:

I know it expires eventually, but I'm not sure what the time-to-live on 
it is. I think it's a fair number of days, up to a week, possibly.
