BTW usage of BuildRoot tag is discouraged in Fedora:

https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Packaging:Guidelines#Tags_and_Sections

Looking at the original .spec file, there are also other obsoleted
practices. You probably want to take inspiration from more up-to-date
project ...
