I love both of the designs, but I think focusing on the "Friends" Foundation
here will do a better job of helping people feel welcome and part of a community
(and thus stay around longer).

If we focus all of our accolades around achievement, then people who drift away
from active contribution might feel less welcome than people who feel like part
of a family.

I straight up prefer the "friends" shirt. but am also very much in agreement with stephen

Yeah, last time it was great and people were very happy to get one. So, it's a good idea to make it happen again.
The shirt is for the most active contributors of the teams, so it would fit better to choose the 'Fedora contributor' shirt, but from a design POV the 'friends' shirt is more beautiful :)
If these designs are final and we cannot get a better 'contributor' one, I would vote for 'Fedora friends'.
Thanks to Jiri for the idea.

It doesn´t matter what artwork it is, it doesn´t matter which size it is; it doesn´t matter how much each one costs, ...
... the only matter which is important is: it is "officially fedora branded"
and maybe second there are just a bunch of it available.

Please have a look at the fairs everywhere in the world, in every fair there will be T-Shirts sold and from single projects also some given for free away. But on every fair, I was (and behind the desk) always were some user (!!!!) who asked shy about a shirt.
From my POV, we (EMEA Ambassadors) startet long time ago another "quality" which I like to continue and seen moved forward also in that e-mail. A polo shirt has much more value and quality and second, it also has a much more lifetime. That said, at least I still have my first polos as Ambassador and this with the same color and quality and not in such a quality like some other t-shirts where the seam of the shirt is shifted.

I absolutly agree with producing wearable thing for users AND also for contributors in general but my credo will always be: quality instead of quantity.

Just my five cents
