We don't intend to use the domain
fedora-latam.org as a domain, but the
domain
latam.fedoracommunity.org.
I think that
fedora-latam.org can be used as cname entry on the DNS, and
all the countries that don't have a domain
will use
latam.fedoracommunity.org/<contry>.
After that, to standardize and to avoid problems with the misuse of the
name, we'll advise the other countries that have
a own domain to ask for a subdomain too.
In the path, a substitution like s/fedora-latam/latam.fedoracommunity/
should match with what we are asking.
Sorry about the confusion. Forget that patch then! :-)
One more tip: It would be nice for the landing domain to have up to
date content, if that's going to be the server currently at
. There's some outdated material there such as naming
for Fedora 20 currently.
