Dear all,
You are kindly invited to the meeting: Council (Open Floor) on 2017-03-15 from 09:00:00 to 10:00:00 US/Eastern At fedora-meeting@irc.freenode.net
The meeting will be about: The Fedora Council will hold our regular Open Floor meeting at 14:00UTC in #fedora-meeting on irc.freenode.net. All are welcome!
To convert UTC to your local time, take a look at http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/UTCHowto
or run: date -d 'tomorrow 14:00 UTC'
Open Floor meetings happen every other week. They do not have a preset agenda. Instead, we spend the first few minutes of the meeting deciding what topics will be discussed. If attendees — Council members and otherwise — have several topics of general interest, the primary meeting chair (usually the FPL or FCAIC) will put them in order, and after a certain amount of time discussing the first, ask if it's time to move on.

Urgh. We are keeping this at the same time *despite* the DST switch; the time will still be 9am US/Eastern, which is to say 13:00 UTC. I'll change the calendar message.

Wow, Daylight Saving Time is awful; of course, it is not international, and while we just switched in the US, in the Czech Republic, it's not until March 26.
Of course, keeping to UTC is the most egalitarian, but that's only in the sense of "terrible for everyone". Does anyone object if we just call this meeting "9am US/Eastern"?

I am so bad with timezones....this is EDT now or? That means for EU, we will have the meeting an hour earlier, correct? Just want to make sure it's not an hour later, because I would have a conflicting FAmSCo meeting in that case. But 9 EDT _should_ be 13 UTC, as you said, so I'm save :)

Yeah, EDT now.
It's not your fault; the whole thing is awful.

.... and, apologies for missing this. It wasn't the timezone but the kids home from school which threw me into disruption and confusion.
