Stealing of non-writable dump dirs is not implemented yet.
Patch is run-tested.
I will work on implementing stealing atop of this patch.
Before stealing can be implemented, we need to fix dump dir locking: creating .lock file in the parent directory is wrong. ... Here is the patch which implements that. Please see added comment at the top of dump_dir.c for explanation of new algorithm.
And here is the third and last part of the conversion. Now abrt-cli -l will show even only readable dump dirs, abrt-clr -r DIR on unwritable DIR will create a copy in $HOME/abrt/spool and then report it. (On writable DIR it is, of course, isn't done).
Lightly run tested.
looks good, put it into git. I will write some stress tests about steeling directory, reading and writing above same directory and so on. Any ideas is welcome.
Thanks, pushed to git.
