Fill out what works for you for a (semi?)weekly 30-45 minute block of time on irc.

So according to the board meeting recap we scheduled a meeting for tomorrow, Tuesday 2010-11-30 18:00 UTC. I wonder a bit why I only found out about our first meeting like that.
Unfortunately I got a business meeting tomorrow afternoon (UTC+1) at a remote location and I don't know yet whether I'll be back by 18:00 UTC but probably not. But this is a one-time meeting and Tuesday 18:00 UTC normally works very good for me in case we want to keep this meeting time.

You didn't get this one I sent a bit earlier?

Doing a quick search of mailbox, I didn't receive that message either. If my math is correct, that's tomorrow at 1pm est, isn't it? I should be able to attend.
Later, /B

I just got word that I should be back home by 18:00 UTC, maybe a couple of minutes late. :)
So where do we meet? #fedora-meeting seems to be free 18:00-19:00 only but is busy right before and and afterwards which might be a bit too limiting. Do we want to settle for #fedora-meeting-1?

I would prefer to use #fedora-meeting if we can...
* Lots of people lurk there to watch meetings. * It will be easier to ping someone if want input from them there. * Moving to meeting-1 might be seen as less public.

I concur.
In general, I like to limit meetings to an hour unless there is some sort of urgent crisis - the productivity past an hour seems to go down dramatically. Rex said he'd try to have an agenda set up, so we should try to stick with that and get what we can done, and then note things unhandled for the next meeting, rather than trying to figure out everything at once.

OK, agenda fail (life gets in the way, fun), but just a reminder for what was already outlined, http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_Community_Working_Group#Tasks_for_the_W...
Of those items, I'd personally prioritize:
* logistics: Create clear and easy points of contact, including a mailing list (done), irc channels( #fedora-cwg ?), trac instance(todo?)
* Determine how best to work together and coordinate efforts with other groups within fedora dealing with similar concepts and goals, including FAMSCo, FESCo, irc-support-sig, Hall Monitors, mailing list moderators, Websites-sig (planet).
* Assisting to write a Fedora Code of Conduct (or recommending that one is not needed)
* Decide how to deal with different types and degree of conflict
