Hi,
I wanted to use darkserver/darkclient for the core file
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=926099#c16
but
(1) I haven't found darkclient packaged in Fedora, so I used:
git clone git://github.com/kushaldas/darkclient.git
also it took me some time before I found it.
(2) It is very very slow. First I generated list of NVRAs from build-ids
./darkclient >1 -i 1c07c6884a1cb3c93486fd902e656b3fd492cb19 ...
dd7d265b52c0fedd7fb5e5c48e6e39b8581fe8cb
which is reasonably fast (0m3.388s).
But then to get the URLs is terribly slow. I haven't found how to run
darkclient with multiple arguments for -p so I had to run it for each one:
time for i in `cat 1`;do ./darkclient -p $i;done|tee 2
But it took 11m23.545s. That was yesterday - today it took just 0m39.128s;
that's also not great but it is at least usable.
(3) I had to somehow merge the lists of NVRA packages - each build-id
generates possibly multiple NVRAs. But the final list of NVRAs should be
intersection of all NVRAs for each N (name) across all the build-ids.
Maybe this could be a part of the darkclient; although
darkserver/darkclient is not a whole solution - that ABRT tries to do.
Attached FYI.
Regards,
Jan
