Thanks Michal. Any luck with using deltacloud-client with username and password for ec2?

I have written a python binding for deltacloud client. Do I create a git patch and send it to the list? What is the procedure?
Yes, procedure is fairly simple. You generate a patch using 'git format-patch master' and then use 'git send-email'. Or alternatively you can import your whole project to gitorious/github and just post a link.
On a similar note, I wanted to compare results of my client with deltacloud's ruby-client. 'deltacloudc --help' asks me to export an environment variable API_URL=http://%5Buser%5D:%5Bpassword%5D@%5Bapi_url%5D%5Bport%5D%5B/uri] Does it handle special characters like @ and / within user and password? I keep getting wrong URI errors especially when using Amazon EC2 secret keys.
Actually this is a good question, I had same problem few days ago. I'll investigate this deeper to give you a right answer ;)
