Hello,
talking with David, it seemed that it could be useful to have a Eucalyptus test system that you could use. We are in the process of acquiring colo space and machine to provide such system at a decent scale, but I did wanted to provide you with something sooner, so I scavanged a couple of machine around the office, and install on them the latest Eucalyptus (1.6.2).
You can access it at https://98.173.24.221:8443 and apply there for an account: the node does not have email setup, so you will have to ping me for approval. Machines (only 2) and bandwith is limited, but the Eucalyptus installation is fully features (EBS, Elastic IPs etc ...).
Let me know if you find it useful, not useful or if you need any other help in configuration.
cheers, graziano

Thanks a ton for setting this up - I just applied for an account there (username lutter)

Hello David,
account is enabled. You can login and download your credentials. They arrive in a zip file: unzip them somewhere, then source eucarc (. eucarc) and your euca2ools or ec2-api-tools will now talk to the testbed.
Let me know if you need anything else or you find any problem.
cheers graziano
