Hi folks,
I've procured us a booth for LinuxCon in August. As part of getting a
booth they will print a graphic for us for the front of our display area.
Basically: I need a GIANT Fedora logo.
Front Counter Graphic:
Printable Area: 49”(w) x 43” (h), Bleed: 1”, Trim: 48” (w) x 42” (h)
Please note that I can't do something non-logo, since we have a comped
booth - it's logo only.
The artwork is requested to be in by Aug. 1, but the sooner the better.

#50: ABRT GUI rework

Hi,
since we are "command line" users, we aren't sure about how GUI is
designed. Can anybody tak a look at it? Basically, there are two windows.
First window includes a list of bugs with basic information like
application name, package name, ... An user has two options. Either report
a crash or delete a crash. If the user wants to report a crash, he chooses
some crash by clicking and then click on the icon in the icon panel, after
a while a second windows is displayed. If he wants to delete a crash, then
he click on another icon.
Second window includes a list of detailed information. Some information
the user can not change (like linux kernel version), some information he
can change (like backtrace). When data have binary form (possibly large
amount of data) the user can decide if he wants to include then in a
report (by clicking on a checkbutton on left side). The same situation is
when data have text form and text is large.

[https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=518007 Bug #518007] is that
system-config-printer-applet could do with a better notification area
status icon in this situation: A printer has been plugged in for which we
do not have a queue configured, and we are configuring one.
This can take up to a minute in some situations.
At the moment I'm using document-print-preview for this.

from mizmo, in https://fedorahosted.org/marketing-team/ticket/60:
the display for showing the tags applied to an article is messy and needs
to be fixed. i've taken it out of the templates for now until it can be
done right.
(In other words, "do the CSS work needed to make each article show the
tags applied to it.")

liveusb-creator could use some user interface improvements. This was
discussed in a post-meeting chat after the July 20th design meeting.
What improvements are needed and how to incorporate them has yet to be
decided.
I'm opening this ticket as a central place to track discussion on this
topic.

#148: Spelling Bee app UI design

Kishan: "Recently, yevlempy [1] and myself, Kishan [2] decided to write a
desktop application (game) based on the "Spelling Bee" format popular
across the world. Read more about 'spelling bee' here.[3] But, being
a game, it requires to have a nice UI appealing to the target
user-base, in this case, children of 8-16 yrs. [4] would give a proper
underatanding and a somewhat-demo of the kind of app. we are planning
it to be.
And the problem lies herein. Neither of us have any experience regarding
artwork/design and we are not good at it either. I know some
PyGtk and have used the Glade interface designer before. Sitting down
for a couple of hours, I managed to come up with this [5] And, I think
it looks ugly. So we request you guys to guide us on how to go about
this."
