#184: Logo for cobbler project

http://fedorahosted.org/cobbler
We've recently been working on a web ui refresh for cobbler, and one of
the things that was discussed was the lack of a favicon. Historically
cobbler has just utilized its name as the logo:
https://fedorahosted.org/cobbler/attachment/wiki/UserDocs/logo.png?format=r…http://git.fedorahosted.org/git/?p=cobbler;a=blob_plain;f=web/content
/logo-cobbler.png;hb=HEAD
It would be kind of kewl to have a logo to go with the refresh and to move
forward with. As cobbler doesn't have a GUI other than the web interface
the primary spots of the logo would be the favicon and inline on the web
page. Currently the logo for the applications web interface is ~180x80px,
but we aren't tied to any target size in particular.
The main thoughts on content would be something shoe related. We though
just an unfinished shoe as one possibility, and another was a shoe on one
of those stands with a hammer laying next to it. Not necessarily like
this image, but it shows the stand I mean:
http://dir.coolclips.com/Business/Retail/Garment_Manufacturing/Cobbler_and_…
However, we aren't the artistic ones, so are open to suggestion.

#168: Posters for a Fedora presence at a local expo.

Hi,
I'm Ilyes Gouta, a Fedora Ambassdor from Tunisia (north Africa,
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/User:Ilyes) We're going to attend an local
expo. and we're organizing to have a Fedora booth at the event.
I'd like to ask if you guys are keeping SVG templates for banners and
posters that would be used for such an event. We intend to reuse that
material as a foundation/template for our final poster. Any pointers are
more than welcome! :)
I've already went through
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Artwork/MarketingCollateral#Posters but I
couldn't find a satisfactory SVG content.
Thanks!

#129: Fedora Summer Coding 2010 design help

So you might have heard about ...
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Summer_Coding_2010
Being a whole new program for us, I thought it deserved a new, non-GSoC-
specific ticket. :)
Ideas that have come up so far:
* summercoding.fedoraproject.org -- static go-to site, using current fp.o
design and templates and framework.
* Posters to put up around schools.
* A logo?
I'll go the list to see if there is actual interest in this, but thought
I'd file a ticket first to refer to.
If there is interest, we'll make this the master ticket (as a task), and
I'll file separate tickets for the logos, website help, etc. That sound
right?

#82: Need a logo for the Docs team
-------------------------+--------------------------------------------------
Reporter: rlandmann | Owner: duffy
Type: task | Status: new
Priority: minor | Component: Artwork
Severity: Quick & Easy | Keywords:
-------------------------+--------------------------------------------------
Publican (the XML publishing tool used by the docs team) includes a small
logo and hyperlink at the top right corner of the pages it builds in HTML.
The hyperlink points to the documentation team responsible for the doc (in
the case of Fedora docs, the Fedora Documentation Project), plus that
team's logo.
No logo for the Fedora docs team actually exists, so on all our Publican
docs, we just get a "Made with Publican" logo instead. You can see an
example here:
http://docs.fedoraproject.org/release-notes/f11/en-US/
Something actually relevant to Fedora, documentation, or Fedora
documentation would be much better :)

#198: four foundations logos

I'm redrawing the fedora cheat cube, like it should be done, because I
downloaded it and I noticed that is not straight to the page, bad logo
usage (there are png images vectorized), and the complete cube is a
disaster, i.e.: no spaces to fold up the cube sides, etc. So I take the
time to redone everything in Inkscape like it should be, and I all ready
have the fedora color palette.
Other things, typography is Courier New (WTF?), It should be Monospace or
Liberation Mono, and MgOpen Modata (WTF?), should be Liberation Sans, etc.
I forgot, it will be much easier if you send the de Fedora Logo too, I
don't know if I had it write.
I also downloaded the Comfortaa Font.
Thanks for your time.
I hope had the files soon.
Best regards.
Uriel.
Sorry if I didn't do this write.

#84: need to get fpo.org banner rotation js working in insight
--------------------------------+-------------------------------------------
Reporter: mchua | Owner: duffy
Type: task | Status: new
Priority: major | Component: HTML/CSS Work
Severity: Moderately Involved | Keywords: insight

From mizmo: i tried to get the js for the banner rotation on www.fpo
working in zikula. it just spit out the js plain text rather than working.
for now i've statically linked out to the F11 release banner but one of
two things is going to need to happen before insight goes live:
* js needs to be working OR
* we need to statically link to a non F11 banner
