#211: New logo and/or art for Fedora videos page ---------------------------+--------------------------- Reporter: markdude | Owner: nobody Type: task | Status: new Priority: major | Component: Other Artwork Severity: Quick & Easy | Keywords: Blocked By: | Blocking: ---------------------------+--------------------------- Our video page needs a refresh, as well as some new videos. In addition to making it more useful. I was hoping to get some sorta logo or art. Does not need to be complicated, just straight forward. Videos will be posted on Archive.org, and other places. https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Video << this page will be merged with https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/User:Niteshnarayan/video_tutorials as well as any other relevant materials. I thank the Design Team in advance for their help. -- Ticket URL: <https://fedorahosted.org/design-team/ticket/211> Design Team <http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Design> Fedora Design Team

[Design Team] #189: F16 Sleeve Artwork suggestion

#189: F16 Sleeve Artwork suggestion ----------------------------------+----------------------------------------- Reporter: nightmoves | Owner: nobody Type: other artwork request | Status: new Priority: minor | Component: Other Artwork Severity: Quick & Easy | Keywords: ----------------------------------+----------------------------------------- Before we start printing/publishing stuff for the the F16 Sleeve Artwork I'd like to make a small suggestion about the content on the cover with respect to the F15s and so on that had this but doesn't seem right. Where it says " We hope you enjoy using Fedora. If so, you can install it to your computer....". The "If so" part makes it seem like a condition, wherein if you like using fedora, go ahead, else what?? Maybe we should have the "If so" part removed. -- Ticket URL: <https://fedorahosted.org/design-team/ticket/189> Design Team <http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Design> Fedora Design Team

[Design Team] #120: Request for new system-config-nfs icon

#120: Request for new system-config-nfs icon -------------------------+-------------------------------------------------- Reporter: raven | Owner: duffy Type: icon request | Status: new Priority: major | Component: Artwork Severity: Quick & Easy | Keywords: -------------------------+-------------------------------------------------- I would like to ask for a new icon for system-config-nfs application to replace old Bluecurve one [1] with an icon better fitting desktop and current standards. It could re-use icons from gnome-icon-theme, like we did with anaconda. Program's author is aware of this request [2]. [Design Team] #65: Mockups for a desktop bugzilla client
by fedora-badges 20 May '12

20 May '12

#65: Mockups for a desktop bugzilla client --------------------------------+------------------------------------------- Reporter: sundaram | Owner: duffy Type: mockup request | Status: new Priority: major | Component: Interaction Design / Usability Severity: Moderately Involved | Keywords: --------------------------------+------------------------------------------- https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Bugzilla_Desktop_Client We are looking to write a client from scratch or modify the bug buddy client to suit our needs. The target audience is primarily end users who want to interactively report a bug (Excluding crashes etc detected by bug buddy or abrt) on a system that is facing the problem. Most of the bugs are against a top few components (kernel, firefox, yum etc) and it is not reasonable to expect users to necessarily understand the exact component (only source packages are listed in bugzilla). We can collect the logs, hardware details etc and be more intelligent because it is a desktop client. The challenge is to make the process very simple while leaving enough room for other more expert users to report a bug as well. We want the ability to report the bug against a specific component if the user understands the details but the application itself is oriented towards non technical users. -- Ticket URL: <https://fedorahosted.org/design-team/ticket/65> Design Team <http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Design> Fedora Design Team
