* Deadline
Not really any
* Size requirements in pixels if applicable
let's do SVG so that we can resize easily :)
* If this is a logo or icon for an application:
* What application is this for?
Pagure is a git-centered forge for projects. The dev instance can be seen
at: http://209.132.184.222/
* Brief description of what the application does
It offers hosting of projects with their source code, their documentation,
their ticket and offers the possibility of contributing to it via pull-
requests
More information in the readme at: http://209.132.184.222/pagure
* Packager or developer contact information (IRC nick + email + wiki
profile page link)
pingou
* If this is for an icon, please indicate if you need desktop icons or web
application icons.
This is a web app
Note:
Pagure is the generic name (in French) for animal of the ''Pagurus''
family which includes the well known ''Pagurus bernhardus''
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pagurus_bernhardus I thought maybe a stylized
drawing of it could be an idea for the logo.

<Sparks> mizmo: Any chance I can get you to help me modify that image to
make some stickers for Fedora peoples?
<Sparks> And by help... well, you've seen my art skillz.
<mizmo> Sparks, what are the specs for the stickers?
<Sparks> They must be sticky on the backside.
<mizmo> lol no i mean
<mizmo> do you want sheets? singles? how large?
<mizmo> what do you want them to say?
<mizmo> etc etc
<mizmo> context!
<Sparks> :)
<Sparks> Well... I read something on memo about RH having an account with
some sticker people who will make individual stickers in a variety of
sizes.
<mizmo> variety of sizes = more work for mo :(
<mizmo> do you remember the subj of the thread?
<threebean> (barely related -- can we make a boat load of badge stickers
for flock?)
<Sparks> I was hoping to do something to show appreciate for the people
who have helped update Fedora/EPEL repos with CVE patches.
<Sparks> no, I just want one size of sticker.
* Sparks looks for the email
<mizmo> threebean, ive speced it out before although i think the
requirements were to have sticker sheets customized to what ppl had
actually earned - and there wasn't really any one vendor who could do it,
certainly not cost effectively
<mizmo> threebean, now if we did a sheet with a static set of badge
designs per sticker - that would be easily doable
<mizmo> tho we'd need budget
<Sparks> mizmo: My email program might have already eatten it since it was
more than a couple of weeks ago.
<mizmo> when ive done sticker sheets in the past... was a minimum of 500
sheets, was a few hundred buckazoids
<mizmo> Sparks, i usually use stickergiant
<Sparks> That's fine. I'm not tied to any particular vendor.
<Sparks> It was just what spurred the idea
<mizmo> Sparks, so what ones do you want?
http://www.stickergiant.com/shape
* Sparks gets his ruler out
<mizmo> note that custom shapes are more $
<Sparks> mizmo: It's bressers' money...
<mizmo> oh, CUSTOM IT IS THEN!
<Sparks> Umm, so maybe a 3" circle?
* mizmo dons some $$$ necklaces
<mizmo> actually :) we could do custom shape and make it the badge bubble
shape
<Sparks> mizmo: that has been appropriately relayed. Fortunately he'll
never find us here.
<mizmo> how many stickers do ya want
<Sparks> Well... I'm guessing 500 would be a good start. We could live
off of that for a while.
<mizmo> 250 for $157.70 is the lowest you can order
<mizmo> 500 if $208.00
<mizmo> s/if/is
<Sparks> That's not bad.
<Sparks> The interesting part is desimination, really.
<Sparks> The price for 250 circle is $154.67 so not a big difference.
<mizmo> yeh, totally worth it!
<mizmo> note shipping is on top
<Sparks> <bressers> I suggest you wear a clock neclace.
<mizmo> lol
<Sparks> My original thought was just to recreate the badge image but now
I'm thinking that some wording would be good.
<mizmo> threebean, just sent a badge sticker sheet proposal to flock-
planning
<mizmo> Sparks, we could do some words around the outer edge, any idea
what it could say
<Sparks> "I helped make Fedora more secure." or "Securing Fedora one CVE
at a time." or similar.
<mizmo> kk
<mizmo> lemme open a ticket for this on the design team thing
<mizmo> do you have a timeline?
<Sparks> Honestly I'm thinking the badge design should have been something
like whack-a-mole (TM).
<Sparks> mizmo: No timeline.
<mizmo> is anybody going to be at flock that should get one? we could
shoot for having them produced for that
<Sparks> mizmo: Well, I was hoping to have something to give folks at the
end of June but that's loose.
<Sparks> I'm sure Flock would be a good place to give some away.
<Sparks> Basically, if you're on the recipient list you get one.

Hi,
I'd like to ask for F22 media artworks like last time:
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Artwork/MediaArt/F21
Speaking for EMEA, we will produce Fedora Workstation 64bit DVDs and
Alternative Desktop DVDs (KDE, MATE, Xfce,...) which were never produced
before and they never had artwork, so it's something new.

#358: Add Cockpit banner to Anaconda GUI

* Deadline / Release milestone: Is this for a pre-alpha, alpha, or beta
Fedora release? What date do you need the artwork by to be able to check
it in before the code freeze?
Fedora 22 Beta would be ideal. As early as possible for time with
translation.
* Who is the packager responsible for checking in the artwork? (irc nick,
email address, fas account name.)
Unclear, but I will manage whatever wrangling is needed.
* Brief description of the type of release artwork you are looking for.
Suggestions:
* Anaconda banner: We would like to advertise Cockpit prominently during
graphical install to assist people with discovering how to manage their
Fedora Server.
Suggested Copy:
"Installing Fedora Server? Browse to https://yourserver:9090 to access the
Cockpit Management Console!"

#363: Mockup request for new spins.fpo and labs.fpo websites
-----------------------+---------------------------
Reporter: robyduck | Owner: duffy
Type: Web Design | Status: new
Priority: high | Severity: Quick & Easy
Keywords: | Blocked By:
Blocking: |
-----------------------+---------------------------
The actual https://spins.fedoraproject.org website is just a temporary
solution, it's confusing and we have too many images there, because after
F21 we have also ARM and Docker images there (also prerelease).
So, for F22 GA we want to release a new spins.fpo website, where we could
promote Desktop Spins (KDE, Xfce, LXDE, MATE-Compiz, SoaS). The other,
more functional spins, could go under a new website, i.e.
labs.fedoraproject.org where we can also add ARM and Docker images and
give them their own space.
My thought was to have for both websites a nice landing page, use the same
header and footer as we have in getfedora.org, and make them mobile
friendly. The dedicated page for each spin (it doesn't matter if they are
on spins or labs) should have the same template. Two or three screenshots
for features, some text and the download images, maybe with a nice header
(tagline). The best would be to get the content directly from the spins
SIG.
As we don't have much time to do it and also need to work on F22-Beta and
F22 GA simultaneously, I'm requesting some mockups (just images) for:
* Landing page for Spins
* spins template
* Landing page for Labs
* maybe ARM
The websites team can code these, make them responsive using the same
structure we have in getfedora.org and run all scripts we need to make the
new websites awesome.
After getfedora.org and start.fedoraproject.org this could be a great step
to have new and modern websites for every usecase. I'm adding 2 images I
built in our websites repo (spins-redesign branch), they are not very nice
but maybe could be useful anyway.
Thanks for your help, the earlier we have some mockups, the better ;)

Comments on guitar pick printing
I have contacted the three guitar pick printers asking them about the
lines per inch limit of single color printing. Since the light blue
portion of the Fedora logo is half white and half Fedora blue I think that
small area could be printed with a 50% halftone. All the printers replied
that we should use full color printing. All the printers charge about
$185 per 1000 picks for single color pad printing and $275 per 1000 picks
for full color digital printing. They will blend the single color (pad
printing) as required. Pad printing typically has 125 to 175 lines per
inch resolution. Pad printed ink is more durable than the digital print.
I believe that a conversation with Chrissy at InTuneGP could convince them
to do a single color test print with our artwork using a suitable halftone
for the light blue area. Can the Design team do this? I am submitting a
ticket to ambassadors to authorize the expense for 1000 to 2000 picks.
So this could be a quick and easy task to get inexpensive guitar picks in
time for LinuxFest NorthWest. Or it could be a moderately involved task.
