Dear fellow Fedora artists,
I've picked up 6 wallpapers from Fedora 13 Artwork Page[1] and resized
them into my 1366x768 and 1600x1200 and made a slideshow wallpaper for
GNOME.
The slideshow wallpaper was named: "fedora-design".
The RPM was nammed: goddard-fedora-design-wallpapers-*.noarch.rpm
(dependency list, GNOME. not sure on the outcome on KDE).
I haven't released this, and did it for my own joy. There is art
submited that I love and I haven't found it on Goddard.
Does anyone wants to release it on Fedora-Art.org ?
Anyone minds that I make the RPM available on my fedorapeople?
I can add more resolutions before submitting it, what resolutions would
you like me to introduce ?
thanks,
nelson.
PS: I believe it would be fun to share this so we can give more
notoriety to our artists and their awesome work. In the future if anyone
wants to push a similiar package I don't mind to maintain it. I hope I
can support more directly Fedora Design and Artwork this way, or at
least help.
Hi,
Due to the nature of my own needs, I use a computer in a different way
from much people, at least have different needs. One of the packages
more important for me is openoffice.org.
Not that I don't like the original branding, I've reworked 2 files in
order to give openofficer.org a bit more of fedorish look.
I've used art available by fedora and the openoffice.org logo trying to
bring it a more goddardish look.
Everything I've produced is available in source and other formats in my
fedorapeople.org:

If by any means anyone feels like improving it or use the idea for
future work, who knows even for F14 out of the box, go ahead.
Nicu left some feedback, and I have to admit I don't have the technical
knowledge to make it much better or even to follow his guidelines, keep
doing such... maybe in having a goal I can improve my skills. I'm
struggling also with Inkscape, but with less success than Gimp :(

Hi all,
I've been the maintainer of the Fedora Design Suite [1] for the past
release cycle [2], which has also been part of the F13 talking points
[3]. However, I'll be starting college at the end of the summer and
I'm suspecting that I might have a little less time then. Hence, I'm
looking at handing the Design Suite off. I'd be very happy to walk
people through the build process and to help in case trouble arises,
though.
Please drop me a line if you're interested (or ping me in IRC -- I'm
sdziallas there).

Hi everybody!
This is a reminder that our weekly IRC meeting is at 19:00 UTC on
Tuesday, June 22 in #fedora-design on irc.freenode.net. Máirín asked me
to take over as she's going to be Summit-busy.
On the agenda:
- F14 artwork schedule -- deadline reminder, what's new, feedback we've
seen so far
- Trac queue
- Open floor
We'll try to keep the meeting to an hour.
If you'd like to add items to this agenda, just reply to the email.
Below is a time conversion listing for folks who were mentioned in last
week's time conversion listing. (I've removed myself because I'm going
to be in three different timezones over the next four weeks.)

I have been learning Blender. I generated these images that I thought would work nicely for the f14 wallpaper.

The blender files and the additional blender files are available

Look forward to seeing what you come up with.
