Supplemental wallpaper submission

Just noticed a reply to my message in the archives, so sorry if this
response is a bit late.

All I meant by public domain, is I don't care who does what to them
(and since I made the images, no one else should care either :-).
If one of those other licenses conveys anything close to that spirit,
I'm happy call that the license these images are under. After reading
the description, CC-ZERO sounds awful close to me.

Need help/suggestions reg. the design/UI of an app.
by Kishan Goyal
Hi all,
Recently, yevlempy [1] and myself, Kishan [2] decided to write a
desktop application (game) based on the "Spelling Bee" format popular
across the world. Read more about 'spelling bee' here.[3] But, being
a game, it requires to have a nice UI appealing to the target
user-base, in this case, children of 8-16 yrs. [4] would give a proper
underatanding and a somewhat-demo of the kind of app. we are planning
it to be.
And the problem lies herein. Neither of us have any experience
reagrding artwork/design and we are not good at it either. I know some
PyGtk and have used the Glade interface designer before. Sitting down
for a couple of hours, I managed to come up with this [5] And, I think
it looks ugly. So we request you guys to guide us on how to go about
this.
Any suggestions/feedback and pointers would be of great help!
Thanks!

Since not all the websites have finished sites or distinctive designs,
Jef put together a mockup using flags for each country (with the caveat
it would need to be adjusted so the flags were a bit smaller):
http://schendje.fedorapeople.org/fedoracommunity/fedoracommunity.org.flag...
I know there's a lot of sensitivity to the usage of national symbols in
general; is it advisable to avoid the usage of flags or do you think it
would be okay in this instance?

fedora 14 and gnome-shell
by Emily Dirsh
I just noticed that F14 is going to include gnome-shell. Does anyone
have any thoughts on gnome-shell theming? it uses CSS for theming, so it
would be very easy to have some Fedora friendly gnome-shell theming out
of box.
Thoughts?

OK, here it comes: I actually discovered I have two different
collections of images I made myself and therefore can submit
with no potential legal problems.

This points to both collections:
http://home.comcast.net/~tomhorsley/tom/wallpaper.html
> 2. Title of the work in question
There are two links on the above page, one is for "quilt" the
other is for "trees".

That would be me: Tom Horsley

horsley1953(a)gmail.com

As explained in the pages above, the original images were made
by me. I guess that makes those links the original URL.

I'm perfectly happy to declare them public domain.
