I took interest in this task being a member of the Free-media as well.
So, I accepted the ticket.
Looks much similar to a design I did before ... which was of no
consequence (seemed unnecessary and overambitious at the time)
See: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/File:Fedora-DIY-Sleeve.svgz#file
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/File:Fedora-DIY_Sleeve_Cased.A.svgz#file
Strangely, Joe's design bears a .otg extension ... which software reads
that? Would be nice to see what was done earlier as I am curious as to
why Free-media wants a redesign.
In any case, I've stepped up for this one.

[Request] Mailer for the free media programme.
by Ankur Sinha
hello,
I'm here to request a tiny little task of the awesome design team.
Can someone please make a mailer that the free media program could use
to send it's media in? We already have one[1], but it isn't very generic
(we need one that is not region specific).
The outside of the mailer could be the senders, receivers address(es)
and fedora logo etc., while the inside could have some info? (like a few
important fedora related links maybe?)
If I need to file a ticket for this, please let me know where and how,
and I'll go ahead and do it.

Design FAD 2011
by wonderer
Hello there,
for quite a while there is an idea in the head of some of the
Design-Team members to get together for a FAD. As far as I know
Design-team had not something like it IRL, so the idea came up to put
something together near the next LGM [1] in Montreal. That would be the
weekend May 7-8 or better 14-15 depending on how much we want to do this
weekend.
I set up a first wikipage for that [2] and hope we can get some budget
for some to attend there. I think someone employed withing redhat or
near there should be able to get those up and running (mizmo, maybe you
are our best choise ...?). If someone from around Montreal or around
have some ideas please also put the ideas into the wiki or here on the list.
What do you think about it?
