FUDcon Pune 2011 Tshirt design
by Buddhike Kurera
For FUDcon Pune 2011, I am planning the tshirt design.
I am thinking of following design.
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/File:Fudcon-india-tshirt-1-design.png
The front view use the event logo as already set on the middle of the t
shirt, at the back as it is shown a henna design will lead towards the left
side, top to bottom.
The henna design should be drawn, is there any ideas of the henna pattern.
Please improve my thoughts, ideas welcome.

Another Pune poster idea
by Máirín Duffy
This came out of our meeting discussion. This adds more visual hierarchy
so that you can at a glance get information in the following order:
- why should i be interested in this event? (open source & free
software)
- what is the event? (fudcon pune)
- when is the event? (4-6 november)
- where is the event? (college of engineering pune)
- more details (description, topic list, URL, sponsors)
One question though, what time of day should someone show up?

Logo FUDCon Blacksburg
by Sirko Kemter
Hi,
We searched for a idea for a logo FUDCon Blacksburg after last meeting. And
the idea came up to use a turkey. My idea was to use only a tail of one.
Thats how it would look like.
http://gnokii.fedorapeople.org/logo-blacksburg.png
Is just a sketch so, colors are not 100% and the bubbles to, its fast
vecotrized only to experiment with the position. My favorite is the third from
top.
The question is now, go with an full colored version or better with an
outlined one, where I fear it have to bigger compared to the fudcon logo
himself.
So what are ur opinions?

FUDCon India - Poster (rev A)
by Suchakra
Thanks a lot for feedback and valuable suggestions! I really liked the
1st version too (though it wasn't following guidelines), but I'm still
open to new ideas to redesign. Lets see where does it take us

By this you mean the '0' in 2011?

Ok. That sounds logical too. I think I'll drop these for sure.

Hmmm...i'll think about this for sure.

[Verne] Wallpapers Need Karma; Current Schedule Items
by Martin Sourada
Hi all,
== Wallpaper ==
as already mentioned yesterday on our meeting, the new wallpapers
package need karma by users logged in to bodhi. The relevant update is:
https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/desktop-backgrounds-16.0.0-1.fc16...
What whould be nice to test before giving carma?
For KDE just install verne-backgrounds-{single,kde} and verify it
appears in bg selector and hen selected, it works.
For GNOME install verne-backgrounds-{single,gnome} and
update desktop-backgrounds-gnome. Verify that the new wallpaper is set
by default and appears in background selector.
For XFCE install verne-backgrounds-{single,xfce} and
update desktop-backgrounds-xfce. Verify that the new wallpaper is set
by default and appears in background selector.
AFAIK all these can be tested on F15 without any problems (F16 manages
these the same way as F15).
== Current Schedule Items ==
A kindly reminder that according to our schedule [1], apart from
packaging the wallpaper there are also the two following action items
in near future:
* Supplemental Wallpapers Submissions deadline — Tue 8 August 2011
1900UTC
* Alpha Release Banner due on Fri 12 August 2011
Submissions for Alpha release banner are to be uploaded at wiki [2]
(and mentioned here on list).
Thanks,
Martin
