They can be run with various degrees of success in Wine, which is
available in Fedora. Have you tried any of the Free graphic applications
available in Fedora, like Gimp or Inkscape?

I have used gimp in the past but am not really impressed by the possibilities that you have with it. I think it is useful for some things and it has some nice custom filters but in most cases it is not good enough and it makes a lot of things very hard to do.
