Hi Kyle!
I really do like the gradient you introduced in the next email, it give more depth in my opinion. I don't mind the wave so much, my other comment still stands - we need to add more trees or to make them more united to give it more visual uniformity. Right now they look a bit random, especially the round tree might seem out of place. Maybe try making them more uniform? For reference, check out these photos: https://mir-s3-cdn-cf.behance.net/project_modules/max_1200/d334d348282455.58..., https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/564x/17/24/ce/1724ce569c0135da842c49e5e..., https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/564x/6e/9c/0f/6e9c0f47fe285436886ca6a65...
I'm not sure how literal we want to be with the forest, but I'd try start with smaller trees right on the 'shore' and put bigger ones behind. See here: http://imgur.com/a/k6cxF
There are a bunch of nice tree silhouettes that we could add here: https://openclipart.org/search/?query=tree
Also maybe make them less black?
What do you think?

I see below you suggest pulling in another waveform as a pattern background. I'll give that a try.
General note: lot's of wonderful work floating around, everyone! _______________________________________________ design-team mailing list -- design-team@lists.fedoraproject.org To unsubscribe send an email to design-team-leave@lists.fedoraproject.org
