Cookie Badge awards - how to

Hello Team

I was several times helped by one Fedora user (kevin) and I would like to give him this reward as a thanks for his effort.
I searched the badge web, related cookie ticket (https://fedorahosted.org/fedora-badges/ticket/328) etc. but didn't find anything how to grand it.
Could you guide me to do so please?

Hi Zdenek!

To award cookies, you give someone a +1 or ++ in IRC. For example, if nirik helped you, in a #fedora-* channel where the zodbot is present, type 'nirik++' and that will give him a cookie.

You can only give a person 1 cookie per Fedora release cycle.

Also another note to add on: while it is in a more personal context, I 
have a brief explanation of cookies / Fedora karma on a blog post I

Many thanks for your prompt feedback. IRC was new to me (never used it before) so I have learned something new as well :-)
Your guidance as well as hints from Maria Leonova helped me to award nirik with +1 (I received confirmation about karma change).

I am also a little bit lost with how to get and give Karma.

I created a new ticket to suggest enabling it with mailing list:
