Can't reach the IRC Channel

So, I fired up irssi to do my routine IRC check-ins at freenode, and
what do I get?:

21:48 -!- Irssi: SASL authentication successful
21:48 -!- You are banned from this server- You've been temporarily
blocked due to filtering problems. Sorry for the inconvenience! Mail

What is going on?

You should email [e-mail] for help - I'm sure this must be 
some kind of mistake. Maybe someone on the same network / provider was 
a spammer or something and got the whole thing blocked?
