The scene is cool! How about having a human Silhouette darken from real 
photo rather than drawing by hand?

Maybe into a constellation shaped as 'f' or infinity.

I took Mo's concept and Charlie's concept and mashed them together into 
the "f" constellation Shreyank suggested, with a milky-way-like swirl 
for the vertical part of the "f" and the rocket swoop as the horizontal 
bar. (You could also use a shooting star, it was just faster to 
copy-paste the rocket. Plus a shooting star would require art skills I 
don't yet possess.)

zomg I love it! I wasn't sure how to get around the swirl issue but this

IMHO, the rocket is too much (/me is reminiscing about birds, mountains,
woods and temples we had during Leonidas beta release [1] -- combining
too many concepts into one image may hurt the result) but the rest is
good :-)

IMHO, it is a bit too crowded and doesn't have flow of eyesight:

The idea of rocket with smoke is great. And it would be greater if other 
objects like tree, human, rocks could be smaller to reduce the 
competition to be the 'main object'.

How about having some rounded stars?

butterfly-like pattern is repeated 4 times vertically in the centre of 
the picture?

BTW, once again as I have mentioned in previous Fedora releases, that 
this 'sun ray' design might be recognized as a taboo to Asian peoples.

+1, I also think there are too many elements in there, what the image is 
about? stars? rocket? tree? Let focus on one element/idea and 
de-emphasize the rest (not necessarily remove, just move the focus away)
