Hello everyone
I am trying to download Fedora logo and some more resources to go doing some tests with inkscape but it will not let me. He tells me I'm not registered. "To perform this operation you need these TICKET_CREATE permissions"
Is there any way you can download them?
If you would like the Fedora SVGs, please email logo@fedoraproject.org and explain what you would like to use them for.

The normal thing is that you make it easy for us to collaborate. I need logo and resources as typographies because I want to familiarize with your material. The normal thing is that this material was in a place where we could download it. I do not understand why I have to send an email to ask permission and tell what I will do with the Fedora logo. What do you think I'm going to do with the logo? I do not want to create controversy nor I say this angry although it seems, it is simply, that I miss this way of working I know that my English is very bad, I'm sorry

I'm not an active member of the design team, but I think you should read this: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Logo
Before ask these questions. For example, the quick question about the font (or typography) is that is paid, not open or free,

I would love it if we could offer the logos as a self-service download but it's out of my hands - the trademark owner requires us to do it this way.

Well this is not very typical of "linux", right? If it can be from Microsoft or Apple. I thought I would collaborate in open with an open source project and not with a private company. I already do this every day.
This disappoints me a bit but I am not who to say how you have to work, that is evident. I am sorry.

You are certainly welcome to collaborate — but we do have to follow procedures to protect the integrety of our trademark. That's true for open source projects and private companies alike.
For another example, see: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/styleguide/identity/firefox/branding/
The rules we follow differ in details, but I don't think they're onerous at all. For all the effort you've put into this back and forth, you could probably have them by now.
In the page that you send me example I was able to download the logo without problems and without having to give explanations to anyone. That difference is very important. Anyway I do not want to get into controversy or make you waste time with my comments. Keep in mind that I make an opinion from outside, without knowing the circumstances. It is a general impression. The way it works is like that of a private company. I prefer to collaborate (if my time allows) with people with that "garage culture" that really needs it. Something more romantic not with Trademarks.
Anyway, thanks for your explanations.

You can -- just please not with the trademarked logos.

Canonical is incorporated in the Isle of Man. The Fedora Project's trademarks are under United States trademark law.
Please believe me when I again say that I wish we could offer them for open download, but we cannot. The reasons for this are quite sound. Artists remix artwork all the time without sources anyway, FWIW...

This discussion probably happens a lot of times. IMHO the project being opens, doesn't means that every little piece of it needs to be open. Fedora is not the only example, ask about Firefox (iceweasel case) [1], or even the Ubuntu logo [2]. Graphical elements are delicate, and since there are detailed instructions to use it [3], I think there is no reaons for create flames about not being open, or is less free for that.
Finally, there are legals about trademarks [4] that everyone should read. This doesn't mean that you can't collaborate, just that some things are more delicate than others.

Collaborate verb (used without object), collaborated, collaborating.
to work, one with another; cooperate, as on a literary work: They collaborated on a novel.
