I was away on Friday and coming back found this message from jkurik:

<jkurik> I would like to ask, whether you have any information about the banner and possible some estimation when the banner can be finisted ?

I thought I'd share with everybody.
From gnokii's email I figured we'll do some brainstorming this Thursday. Looks like we have some ideas, so let's discuss them then =)

BTW I just spoke with robyduck and got him a mockup for the banner - we're going with something more generic / extendable (using the design on the right side):
