Hi,
To make our August meetings more convenient for working group members to attend, we have approved a change to move all future meetings up by one week. The new meeting schedule is:
Aug 05 - Christian Schaller (next week) Aug 19 - Owen Taylor Sep 2 - Langdon White Sep 16 - chair TBD Sep 30 - chair TBD
etc.
Meet time remains unchanged, 9:00 EDT on every second Monday. We're just swapping the set of Mondays that we'll meet on.

Just setting the "zomg running the meeting" reminder in my calendar when I noticed that this is a US holiday (labor day). Should we: * reschedule for Sept. 9? and just do two in a row? * skip this one? * reschedule for Sept 9 and reschedule Sept. 16->23, ad infinitum?

Hm, oops, my bad.
I don't think we have anything urgent going on right now. Our main focus right now is encryption/partitoining, and it'd probably be good to give the encryption/partitioning subgroup more time to get together before our next meeting. So my proposal is to skip Sep. 2, ignore the meeting reminder mail when it arrives in a few days, and regroup on Sep 16, with the expectation that the subgroup will have met a couple times before then and will a substantial update for the WG at that time.
OK?
Michael
Sounds good to me. Let's skip the labour day meeting and continue with Sept. 9, Sept. 23, Oct. 7, Oct. 21, etc.

Well I just noticed this is the opposite of what I suggested. Either way is totally fine, but yours requires editing the calendar entry yet again. My suggestion is to reconvene on Sep 16, because I don't think we have much to discuss until encryption/partitioning subgroup has something ready for us.
We do need to handle https://pagure.io/fedora-workstation/issue/102 though, but we can do that in the issue.

Doh! Me too!
I think we should push Sep 2 to Sep 9. And then continue on, Sep 16, Sep 30, Oct 14. I think Kalev must still have the old calendar.
To "subscribe" to the calendar rather than import it, using Google Calendar:
1. Go to your Google Calendar 2. Scroll down, look on left side UI for Other calendars 3. Click + and choose From URL 4. Copy paste this URL https://apps.fedoraproject.org//calendar/ical/workstation/ 5. Upper left UI, click left arrow to back out of settings 6. Go back down to this calendar, click hamburger icon, choose Settings
Now you can customize it: change the name, add Even notifications
To get your Android phone to see this new calendar, you have to go digging for it to add it, it won't just automatically add to your phone.

Let's just meet again on Sep 16. I suggest that the encryption/partitioning subgroup use the extra time to meet.
