Heya,
In the past week, I've been working on 2 packages/patches that are now built into the Fedora 8 repositories.
See: http://hadessuk.blogspot.com/2007/05/bluetooth.html and: http://hadessuk.blogspot.com/2007/06/mo-bluetooth.html
Only a step away: yum -y install gnome-vfs2-obexftp bluez-utils-cups
To use the ObexFTP browsing, just type "obex:///" in nautilus. Hopefully, we'll have a better UI in upcoming versions of the Bluetooth applet.
Cheers
