Fedora is still insisting on diverging from upstream GNOME Terminal. I'm on the side that this isn't a great idea, but whatever, it's a valid thing to do. However, it's not good that bugs *introduced* by this downstream patching seem to be ignored:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1208266
the package patched back in the "Use dark theme variant" option, but did not patch back in its translations, so it appears only in English. This was reported 5 months ago but hasn't received even an acknowledgment.
If we're going to do this can we at least maintain the variance properly?

Considering the fact that one of the most loved features of Fedora 22 was terminal notifications, and the fact that upstream GNOME Terminal refuses to accept patches to add this functionality, I think downstream patching is our only choice.

Thanks for bringing it up. Commented.

Good news is that I just spent an hour restoring the translations for the dark theme setting. We were already carrying some translations downstream. Now we have some more.
Cheers, Debarshi
