uw-imap-2007 soname bump

fyi, I'll be pushing uw-imap-2007 to rawhide later today, it includes a
soname bump, so dependent packages need to be rebuilt, including:
asterisk(-voicemail-imap)
php(-imap)

Rolling Koji builder outage

Over the next few hours we're going to have a rolling outage of the
Koji builders. This is necessary to install a new kernel on them to
resolve some build issues discovered after the refresh. First we will
disable the host to be rebooted and allow it to complete any active
jobs without taking on new ones. Then the host will be rebooted to the
new kernel and re-enabled for taking new jobs.
Users should expect some delay in build tasks, but no loss of jobs.

Reason for Outage:
the current buildsystem is run on FC-6 we are doing an OS refresh on all
build related systems. At the same time koji and mock will be updated to the
latest stable codebase's
NOTE TO PACKAGERS:
If you have to build a package that typically takes over an hour to
build, please make sure to start your job so it is not still running
during the outage. We will be disabling the builders one by one and
will try to let builds finish but won't wait forever.

FUDCon -- considering switching Fri/Sat schedules

All,
As we try to finalize the logistics for FUDCon, it looks like it will be
a lot easier from a space point of view if we make the actual barcamp
day Saturday (instead of Friday), and use Friday and Sunday for the
Hackfests. I also think we can get a better turnout at bar camp if it
is on Saturday.
What we want to know is: does this totally mess up anyone's plans? None
of the dates actually change, just the agenda a little bit.
Let me know off-list. If there's no major concerns, we'll turn this
from 'proposal' to 'official' on Monday and update the main barcamp
page.

Python Eggs & distutils in Rawhide

Just a small heads up for those of you packaging python modules.
python-2.5.1-18, just built for rawhide, has reverted a small patch we
were carrying that disabled generation of egg-info for modules created
by distutils. That means that python modules built against rawhide will
now create an extra file of metadata in the python_sitelib and
python_sitearch directories. You'll need to include those in your
%files section if it's not already pulled in via a wildcard.

Koji build system outage in effect

We've had an emergency outage of the Koji build system. The load
spiked and started taking all available connections to the dbserver
which started failing other services. We've initiated an emergency
reboot of the host.
I will reply when the outage is over.
