Schedule slip
by Michael K. Johnson
We had to respin FC1 today for a non-technical issue (that's all
I can say, sorry), which resets the clock for release. We have
to start over again with the export process, and I don't think
they work weekends, so we have to slip until after we hear back
from them and then sync to mirrors. Wednesday the 5th is slightly
possible, a day later more likely.
We did at least pull in a few technical fixes as well whil we were
at it.
Sorry about that,

RHN and Fedora Core
by Tyler Lane
I am not sure if this is the correct list to ask this question, but
hopefully someone can answer it or send me to the correct place.
Will Fedora Core still use RHN? Or will our current subscriptions for
RHN only work for RHL9 and earlier?

Infrastructure job...
by Michael K. Johnson
One of the things that I'd like to have before doing that is a
CVS ACL implementation that allows us to put ACLS on branches.
The one we use internally allows us to lock down a repository
to certain developers, but I'd really like, for example, to allow
package developers to lock down CVS HEAD on their packages but
still let other developers do work on a branch, and then the
main developer(s) for that package merge the work down to CVS
HEAD when they think it's appropriate.
Anyone interested in working on that?

Did you mean %{X}_%{disttag} or %{X}.%{disttag}?? I guess either one
works, as long as you're consistent.

arch is imho a pain to use. If anything else that CSV should be
used/considered it ought to be subversion. Though usable now, it doesn't
have a stable release yet.
And I'm sure there are lots of other suggestions for version control
systems also. Better stick with CVS for now..

Anaconda build problem. (#108643)
by Razvan Corneliu C.R. "d3vi1" VILT
With the latest version anaconda-runtime-9.0.96-0.20031027175019.
I cannot build a distribution tree anymore without changing some of the
included files.
I've included (hopefully) enough info here to trace the bug.
I left a high severity because it makes anaconda not work at all.
I don't know any python (it's a problem of variable declaration and use)
so that's why I need a confirmation on it. It should be a small change
in no more than 2 line.
