This seems reasonable. So issues that come up from one to the other
would be a bug with the tools and not so much with the spin if I
understand the process correctly?

lesswatts.org
by Richi Plana
Hi,
Of the several projects hosted on http://www.lesswatts.org/ (PowerTOP,
Tickless Idle, Processor Power Management, Battery Life Toolkit, Power
Policy Manager, Power QoS, Display and Graphics Power Savings, Device
and Bus Power Management, ACPICA) how many are currently packages for
Fedora? What are they called? How are they identified? Do they belong in
any particular software group? Some are kernel patches so are they in
any existing Fedora kernel?

yum pulling in 386 packages
by Steve Grubb
Hi,
This morning I checked rawhide. My x86_64 machine has no 386 packages on it.
Doing yum update suddenly wanted to pull in 386 packages to my system. I
updated packages 1 by 1 until I was down to updating NetworkManager.x86_64.
If I type "yum update NetworkManager.x86_64" or "yum update NetworkManager",
I get only 64 bit packages. If I type "yum update", it pulls in the 386
version of NetworkManager and all its dependencies.
So, those of you with pristine 64 bit machines, watch out for this or 32 bit
packages will start creeping back into your system. Is this a known problem
or should a bz be filed?
Thanks,
-Steve

ggz
by Rex Dieter
I'm about to start working on packaging up ggz-related stuff,
http://www.ggzgamingzone.org/
(needed for kdegames4, at least)
Anybody happen to have started work on this, yet? Similarly, anyone
interested in helping, comaintaining, reviewing? :)
Otherwise, I'll probably end up borrowing a lot from existing rpmforge,
Suse, mandriva packages.

buildreq for "localhost works"
by Roland McGrath
With recent changes to the implicit buildreq set, my package broke in the
mass-rebuild-in-mock tests. It needs an environment in which "localhost"
resolves properly. i.e., the canonical dummy /etc/hosts or whatever.
This used to be implicitly supplied, and apparently no longer is.
I can't figure out off hand what buildrequire would supply this.
Thanks,
Roland
