Is dnf update --releasever=30 supposed to work with modules?

On my Fedora 29-ish machine, I just tried: # dnf update --best --releasever=30 However it fails with pages of errors which seem to be related to modules. Is this supposed to work? It certainly worked fine in previous Fedora releases. Bonus question: Are "Problem 1" (etc) in each section of the error message supposed to relate to each other in some way? Or is the second list a new list of problems? Reminder: Beta freeze and code complete deadline in one week

According to the Fedora 30 schedule[1], the 100% code complete deadline[2] for Changes is Tuesday, 5 March. The beta freeze[3] takes effect on this date as well. auto-closing of F30 ftbfs bugs

Hi all, I run a script to close F30/rawhide FTBFS [1] bugs in the cases where a build exists because maintainers sometimes forget to close the bug after a successful build. About 20 bugs were closed this times. There might be some false positives. If I closed a bug inadvertently, please just reopen and remove 'FTBFS' from the bug subject so it doesn't get closed the next time (I grep for this to filter the bug list). Promoting qpid-proton to stable

There is an issue with qpid-proton-0.26.0-1.fc28. It should be in "stable", but it was blocked. This is creating a problem with qpid packages in F28. Can someone advise or assist in moving this package to "stable" ASAP? -- Regards, Irina.

dav1d 0.2.0 with SONAME bump planned next week

Hello, dav1d 0.2.0 is planned to be released on Monday and I will be pushing it to F30/F31 during the week. This new release comes with a SONAME bump, from 0.1.0 to 1.0.0. As far as I know, only VLC depends on it and as such will need to be rebuilt (CCing kwizart and leigh for that matter). Best regards, Robert-André

Any interest in PySide2 (Qt 5 bindings) for Fedora?

I found the following BZ ticket which explains this situation... https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1634658 FreeCAD chose to use PySide over PyQt so this (and a couple of other packages) are preventing me from switching it over to Qt5. Is there anyone interested in getting PySide2 in Fedora and willing to submit a Review Request? I'll volunteer to be the reviewer.. Thanks, Richard
