Read again the thread.
The discussion was about why your average user would ever need RAID,
SE-Linux and other weird server options in his FC kernel.
And the point here is that SELinux isn't a "weird server option". It's
just as important on a desktop box, because it helps contain even
successful attacks and limits their potential damage.
