Don't be afraid of koji. :)

It is under active development.  Of course, resources are limited and not everything can be taken on, but it's worth having the discussion.  I have filed https://pagure.io/koji/issue/851 as a strawman and will try to solicit feedback on the idea.

Patrick, if https://pagure.io/koji/issue/851 was implemented would that resolve the challenge you were facing?  If not, it might be worth reaching out to koji-devel@lists.fedorahosted.org and discussing it further there.

Thanks, that's what I was trying to get at. The problem is that Koji is
very big and very hairy and no-one enjoys poking it much.
