Perhaps it would be better to:
a) Note that Fedora has an active and welcoming KDE SIG.
b) The Fedora KDE sig works with upstream on bugs to improve KDE for
everyone.
c) Fedora KDE is easy to try out with a live media or by
groupinstalling kde.

This makes Fedora BETTER than the rest. If we delegate the latest
KDE
to backports like everyone else, how does that make Fedora better? And
we do want to be better than everyone else if we want to compete with
Apple and Microsoft.
