  Pagure.io is not reachable since few days (traceroute end at
2605:bc80:f03:4::2 corv-car1-gw.nero.net) so it a bit hard
to discuss this proposal.

Check to see if you have a hard coded /etc/hosts entry for pagure.io or a DNS cache which isn't timing things out. That is an old IP address from a move previously announced. The DNS entries should be

[smooge@smoogen-laptop ~]$ host pagure.io
pagure.io has address 8.43.85.75
pagure.io has IPv6 address 2620:52:3:1:dead:beef:cafe:fed5
pagure.io mail is handled by 10 pagure.io.

[smooge@smoogen-laptop ~]$ host stg.pagure.io
stg.pagure.io has address 8.43.85.77
stg.pagure.io has IPv6 address 2620:52:3:1:dead:beef:cafe:fed3
stg.pagure.io mail is handled by 10 stg.pagure.io.
