Or even better

$ spectool -g bettercap.spec

In this case source tar ball will be downloaded to current directory instead %{_sourcedir}.

You need to add -R option to above.

Nevertheless spectool is for only limited number of operations.

Dumping state of spec internal parser gives you platform to do whatever you want.

%dump is in the format which is independent from specs formatting/indentations.
