A different name space means a different repository. That means a full
copy. A waste of space.
Without taking a stand on which approach is better: I would hope that
our git forge is smart enough to reuse storage for the same commit
hashes. Therefore, a fork with merges will be very low overhead.
By the way what about bug reports? Are we expect to use Bugzilla for
the ELN bugs? A different name space has the advatange of an
independent Bugzilla component. Otherwise ELN bugs will get
intermixed with (and default-assigned to) the Fedora product.
This is a good question, especially since this has not been resolved for
modular components either to my knowledge.
