New installs for x86-64 VM can be BIOS of UEFI for quite some years.
For both i440fx and q35 variants.
I literally did an F31 install to a new instance two days
ago and don't recall being offered any option.
Same for F32 actually - the install failed but I had got as
far as creating the machine without being asked.
