So how do you propose we figure out what kind of hardware we need to
work with, further develop, or such? We used such telemetry in the
past to do targeted improvements to hardware support (cf Smolt and
graphics support).
We can change glibc to enforce hardware requirements before the entire
distribution and see how many people complain. This way, going back to
the earlier state doesn't require a fresh mass rebuild.
