No, I'm just trying to keep folks, including myself, from doing a
lot of
work that ends up being a real serious pain for years on end.
Like trying to get everybody to agree on a format that is specifically
designed to get every user to download a multi-megabyte file every
time a repository has any change whatsoever?
If you're trying to avoid real serious pain for years on end too,
