It cannot be retired in stable Fedora branches, since the packages
cannot be removed from the mirrors or distributed DVDs. I retired it in
f24 and master now. What about EPEL7, should it be retired there as
well?

I guess this is the error that Kevin mentioned. I do not know more about
this.

Sorry for the multiple emails, but I forgot to include that it does need to be retired from EPEL 7 as well and I get an error saying "Could not retire package: Authentication failed" when I try to retire it.
