Or another suggestion - I'm not an expert - but what about a net-upgrade where anaconda uses presto data to upgrade the old system to the new one. Slightly OT, but is there any chance of getting openoffice.org-core working better as a presto update?
no it isn't, the end user still has to download +4gb with jigdo.
